Faan Olgers’ first solo exhibition at Bisou Gallery will showcase a selection of Faan’s most recent paper works as well as a his earlier work, namely his intricate wooden sculptures.
Faan Olgers is an Amsterdam based artist whose work has a playful feel to it, but is very complex and layered at the same time. Olgers’ work has a very clear signature: it’s abstract, often symmetrical and is solely comprised of geometric forms. His recent paper works actually are folding patterns of 3d paper shapes Olgers creates by hand.
With a unique style and approach to his craft, Faan Olgers work continues to be admired by design lovers and art collectors alike.
